Fred Perry Turns 60!

To celebrate reaching an impressive 60 years, Fred Perry have teamed up with Dover Street Market so commemorate the occasion by commissioning various creatives to redesign and re-imagine the original 1952 polo shirt. The 25 unique pieces are on display for the time being at Dover Street Market and will later be auctioned off to raise money for the Amy Winehouse foundation. The creatives include photographic power duo Inez and Vinoodh, painter Horace Panter, graphic designer Neville Brody and London based fashion label Sibling.

The gorgeous shirt-come-dress designed by Bora Aksu.

I absolutely adore this take on the 1952 polo by Sibling.

My particular favourite piece by Asylum.

Rediculously clever shirt by Michael Lau.

Another insanely clever piece from Hiroko Taka Hashi.

As well as the bespoke pieces, British designers Simone Rocha, Giles, Christopher Raeburn and JW Anderson have created a limited edition run of shirts which are on sale now exclusively at Dover Street Market. I absolutely love the mesh polo shirt by Simone Rocha, I might have to try and get my hands on one!

Woahh, so many polo shirts!
Outfit post coming tomorrow!
